Welcome, founding testers
You're one of about twenty-five founding testers, hand-picked from our personal network, helping us shape LumiFi before public launch. The cohort is small on purpose, so we can read every piece of feedback, fix the things that matter, and ship the next version with your fingerprints on it.
Why this cohort exists
LumiFi is the money app we wished we had at 19. Clear, not dashboard-dense. A friend who's good with money, not a budgeting lecturer. Building it for our generation means building it with people who live the same money friction we're trying to fix. That's you.
You're getting the alpha because we trust you to tell us what's broken without softening it, and to tell us what works without padding it. The founding tester role is permanent. You keep the badge, you keep the 50%-off-forever pricing when we turn on Stripe later this month, and you keep a direct line to the team.
What we're asking for
Use the app like you'd use any money app. Connect a real bank account. Set a goal you actually care about — a trip, a birthday, paying off a card. Chat with Lumi when you have a money question. Open /today and /money once a day for a few days. If something feels off, tell us. If something works, also tell us. The moment something clicks is just as useful as the moment something breaks.
We're not asking for thorough QA. We're asking for honest reactions over a few weeks of real use.
Where to reach us
Discord is where it happens. The #bug-reports forum has a template and tags for severity and platform; #feature-ideas is for wishes and "I wish Lumi could…"; #lumi-questions is for "how does X work?" so the answer helps everyone. The team reads all of it daily. The in-app Settings → Send Feedback is fastest for one-line notes. We respond inside 48 hours, faster on anything that breaks the core flow.
What's coming
Stripe and tier gating ship at the end of week two. The referral system ships alongside. Beta opens June 7. Through all of that, you keep your founding tester status. No re-signup, no migration.
Thanks for being here.
